Pricing using multiple units of measure
Your company can price the same inventory item in different units of measure. For example, soft drinks are priced by case, by 6-pack, and by each. The price base for each unit of measure (UOM) is as follows:
Pricing unit of measure | Price base |
---|---|
Case | $9.60 |
6-pack | $3.00 |
Each | $0.75 |
A customer orders 32 cans. Because the price is different for each unit of measure, one line is displayed on the order. The pricing Drill Around shows three units of measure for pricing.
Pricing unit of measure | Price base |
---|---|
One case | $9.60 |
One 6-pack | $3.00 |
Two each | $1.50 |
The invoice order total is $14.10.
