Item comment types

Item comment types are codes that define comments for items, such as shipping instructions or packing information. Item comment types are assigned to item groups and are maintained in the Inventory Control solution. See the Inventory Control User Guide.

When you set up the billing company, you apply item comment types to order documents. You can apply item comment types to invoices, order releases, acknowledgments, quotation listings, and shipment journals.
