Depreciation calculation methods
Depreciation calculation methods are used to define how annual depreciation is calculated. Each asset in Asset Accounting must have one depreciation calculation method assigned to it. You can assign one of the predefined depreciation calculation methods to the asset, or you can create a custom depreciation calculation method.
You can manually define a depreciation compute statement for an asset. Manually defined compute statements are based on the asset basis, in-service date, cost, life to date depreciation, and life remaining.
