Creating an event
- Select Financials > Global Ledger > Setup > Finance Enterprise Group > Maintenance.
- Open the finance enterprise group and click the Event tab.
- Click Create.

Specify this information:
- Event
- Specify the event name using two alphanumeric characters. Specify the event description.
- Primary System
- Select the primary system code.
- Effective Date
- You can specify the date on which you want the event to take effect. If you leave this field blank, then the current date is used.
- Click Save. The event is created with a source type of user.
