Uploading dimension hierarchies

You can only upload dimension hierarchies if they have already been copied to the Upload tab. You can copy them by exporting or updating the hierarchies from an existing dimension structure.

  1. Select Financials > Global Ledger > Setup > Finance Enterprise Group > Maintenance.
  2. Open the finance enterprise group and click the Dimension tab.
    Note: The actual name of this tab is the label that is assigned to the dimension on the finance enterprise group.
  3. Open the dimension structure and click the Upload tab.
  4. Select Actions > Upload Hierarchy.
  5. Specify the Run Group and click OK. The hierarchies are uploaded to the appropriate dimension structures.
