Creating calendars

You can define multiple calendars for a finance enterprise group. Define calendars based on your reporting requirements.

  1. Select Global Ledger > Setup > Finance Enterprise Group > Maintenance.
  2. Open a finance enterprise group.
  3. Click the Calendar tab.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Specify the Global Ledger Calendar name and Description.
  6. Specify this information:
    Calendar Type
    Select the calendar type. If you select a predefined calendar type, you can automatically create a calendar year.

    When you select a period type, you may be prompted to specify additional information. Additional information is displayed for some of the complex calendar types.

    If none of the calendar types match your requirements, select Other. This type of calendar does not support the year-to date and life-to-date hierarchies. You can individually create each calendar period.

  7. Click Save.
