Determining the cause of trading-partner-not-found errors

  1. When you receive notification of an error, open EDI Work and find the location of the erroneous set and note the entry that is specified after the error message.
  2. Locate the data.
  3. Use a text editor to open the data where the error occurred.
  4. On EDI Trading Partners and in the data, compare the six elements in the trading partner record that EDI must find an exact match for in order to be able to find a trading partner.
  5. Fix any discrepancies.
