Commitments

A commitment is a reservation of funds for requested products and services. Commitments are available for most contract types. Commitments are not available for manufacturer or distributor contracts, or contracts without a purchase type. You can create commitments for any item in your code block. A commitment is created when a distribution is created. When you activate a contract with a commitment, the commitment record becomes an obligation against a budget template.
