Creating GPO contract templates

Sign in as Contract Manager and select .

Select Create Template.
- Specify this information:
- Contract Group
- Select a contract group to assign to the template.
- Name
- Provide a template name.
- Description
- Provide a description for the template.
- Contract Type
- Select a contract type.
- Contract Subtype
- Select a subtype to further define a contract type. If you define both a
contract type and subtype, then the vendor agreement that is
assigned to the subtype is used to process the
contract.
- Contract Classification
- Select a contract classification.
- Contract Subclassification
- Select a contract subclassification.
- Primary Internal Contact
- Select the person who is responsible for the contract.
- Preferred Contract
- Select this check box if this is a preferred contract. A preferred contract cost
is the default regardless of priority.
- Currency Code
- Select a currency code.
- Manufacturer Code Division
- If this field value is not specified on supplier mapping,
select the manufacturer code division.

On the Purchase Type Information tab,
specify this information:
- Per Order Minimum Amount
- Provide a minimum amount that can be purchased per
order.
- Per Order Maximum Amount
- Provide a maximum amount that can be purchased per
order.
- UOMs Must Match for Itemmast
- When you select this check box, the UOM on new requisitions and purchase orders
must match the UOM on the contract line. Additionally, item cost is
the default cost for item master items.
- Use Contract UOM for Itemmast
- Select this check box to use the contract UOM on requisitions or purchase orders
for item master items.
- UOMs Must Match for Specials
- When you select this check box, the UOM on new requisitions and purchase orders
must match the UOM on the contract line. Additionally, item cost is
the default cost for special items.
- Lifetime Max Edit
- Select Purchase Orders to edit lifetime max amounts
against purchase orders.
- Select Purchase Orders And Reqs to edit lifetime max
amounts against purchase orders and requisitions.
- Line Level Breaks
- Select a price break type to use as a default. Select Contract
Totals for price breaks against the total amount on
the contract.
- Select Order Totals for price breaks against a single
order total.
- Payment Terms
- Select the payment terms for the contract.
- Desc
- Optional. Provide a description for the purchase type.
- User Field 1
- Optional. Provide additional purchase type information.
- Vendor Agreement Reference
- Optional. Provide a vendor agreement reference number.

On the Purchase Type Default tab,
specify this information:
- Commodity Code
- Select a commodity code for the contract.
- Default Account
- Select the account to use as the default value for contract lines.
- Distribution Code
- Select the distribution code to use as the default accounting information on
contract lines.
- Priority
- Provide a priority value between one and nine for the default cost. One
indicates a higher priority and five indicates a lower priority. The
default priority is five.
- Default Taxable
- Select this check box to set taxable as the default value on contract
lines.
- Tax Code
- Select a tax code.

Click Save.
