Close process schedule
After you define your close process, create a schedule for the
process completion.
Although you can combine different periods within a process, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually, you must assign the shortest period to the process. The list for the scheduled periods are based on the period shown on the process. The scheduling of tasks is driven by the period end dates. If you combine periods within a process, verify that their period end dates match.
For example, a process is set to weekly and there are two scheduled tasks:
- The first task is scheduled weekly on day 30 of the month
- The second task is scheduled monthly on day 31
The monthly task is not scheduled because there is no common period end date.
