Vendor data

Country-specific vendor master data is required, for example, multiple tax ID codes, which can extend to each vendor address. Additional vendor data can be provided through user-defined data elements that are assigned per country, or generic data elements that are assigned for all countries.

Brazil specifics

Each vendor address is considered a different legal entity and should be identified as either a company or an individual.

Each vendor address identified as a company should have the registration numbers, CNPJ, State Number, and Municipal Number. A vendor identified as an individual has a CPF as the registration number.

The CNPJ is a 14 character field and has to be validated according to a mathematical algorithm. The CPF also has to be validated according to a mathematical algorithm.
