Creating a master recurring invoice
- Select Manage Processing > Recurring Invoice Definition.
- Click Create.

Specify this information:
- Company
- Select a company number.
- Recurring Invoice
- Specify a master recurring invoice identifier and its description.

On the Main tab, specify this information:
- Invoice Type
- Select the invoice type for the recurring invoice.Note: You cannot create recurring credit memos.
- Process Level
- Select the process level which is the reporting hierarchy below company.
- Location
- Select a stock location within the company inventory. If the company uses location-based pricing, the you must specify an inventory location.

In the Frequency Control section, specify this information:
- Frequency
- Select the billing frequency to determine how often a customer is billed. If you select a user-defined frequency, then the bill date is equivalent to the user-interface bill date.
- Bill Month
- Specify a bill month to indicate in which month you want to bill. This field is valid only for Quarterly and Yearly billing frequencies. For a quarterly frequency, the valid values are 1 to 3 and for a yearly frequency, the valid values are 1 to 12.
- Bill Day
- Specify the day of the month that you want to bill. This field is used for calculating the billing date. It is valid forSemi Monthly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly billing frequencies.
- Bill Day Of Week
- Select the day of the week for the invoice. This field is valid only for Weekly billing frequency.
- Cycle Code
- Select a cycle code to group recurring invoices for creation at a level lower than frequency. For example, specify cycle 1 to represent the first week of a month in monthly billing frequency.
- Start Date
- Select a start date to indicate when the template has gone into effect. This field determines when a customer recurring invoice can be created.
- Stop Date
- Select a stop date. After this date, a customer recurring invoice can no longer be created. An existing customer recurring invoice can still be effective after this date.
- Current Bill Date
- Select a current billing date for the recurring invoice. This field is used to calculate the next billing date for all billing frequencies except for the user-defined frequency.
- Number Of Invoices
- Specify the total number of invoices for the recurring invoice. You can use up to 999 invoices for each recurring invoice.

In the Billing section, specify this information:
- Currency
- Select the company's base currency code. If the company cannot use multiple currencies, then the currency you specify must be the base currency.
- Term Code
- Select the payment terms to include in the recurring invoice.
- Price List
- Select the price list to use for all invoices for the recurring invoice. If this field is blank, then the price list for the customer is used when creating the invoices.
- Project
- Select a project to recognize revenue with the customer.

In the Payment section specify this information:
- Tax Exempt code
- Select whether the recurring invoice is Exempt or Taxable. If this field is blank, then the tax status is the default from the Customer Recurring Invoices.
- Tax code
- Select a code representing a specific tax information.

In the Sales Data section, specify this information:
- Territory
- Select a sales territory. Invoices for this recurring invoice have this territory code. If this field is blank, then the invoice territory is the default from the customer at the time of creation.
- Sales Representative 1
- Select the code that represents the primary sales representative. If this field is blank, the customer file is the default.
- Commission Rate 1
- Specify the commission rate of the primary sales representative.
- Sales Representative 2
- Select the code that represents the secondary sales representative. If this field is blank, the customer file is the default.
- Commission Rate 2
- Specify the commission rate of the secondary sales representative.
- Commission Split
- Specify the commission split.

Save.
The Invoice Items, Add On Charge, and Invoice Comments tabs are now available.
