Asset history purge
Use caution when purging asset history.
Caution:
You must use caution when purging records. Use this process to reduce
the size of the database files. You can also use it to purge current test data.
If you collect historical transaction data for one or more books, then we recommend that you purge the transaction records more often. The same file names are always used in the purge asset history program. Every time you run the process, the previously generated purge files are overwritten by the new ones. To preserve a previously archived purge file, copy it to a different directory before running purge asset history again.
Reports for purged assets
A report containing the record count of purged records is provided in the notification. Export the report from the Notification window.
Archives for purged assets
Records must be replicated to the Data Lake. There is no CSV export for archives.
