Repair data

You can add asset repair data to existing assets in Asset Accounting.

Repairs are updates to an asset. Depending on the type of repair, these updates may or may not affect depreciation. Major repairs can increase an asset's current value. You can release these transactions for processing and report on them for review and documentation purposes. The repair report includes the description, amount, and any tax that is specified by the repair date range. If the repair cost is depreciated, then you must update the asset data.
