Context

Changing the report filter elements.
  1. Click the element of the dimension.
    A new window is displayed.
  2. Drill down in a hierarchy to see additional selections.
  3. Select a new element.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click the check boxes to select multiple elements.
    To display only the selected elements, click Show Selected.
  6. To filter the whole hierarchy by level regardless of the current selected element, use these structure selections options found at the top:
    • Deselect All
    • Select by levels 1-11
    • Select Base Elements
  7. To filter the level of the current selected element, use these structure selections options beside the element:
    • Select elements underneath. The options available are:
      • All including parent
      • All excluding parent
      • All base elements
      • Level 1 - 11
    • Select parent
    • Select children
    • Select siblings
    Note: The limit of selected elements is set to 100.

    Enable the Allow reference to restricted elements setting in the EPM Administration for the secured dimension in the element selection. This applies if security is applied to the OLAP database for a Financial Reporting application.
