Running reports

After a report is generated, you can specify the report parameters and create the output. You can run the report now or schedule the report to run later.

  1. Select My Reports > Report Designer.
  2. On the Reports tab, select a report.
  3. Click Run Report.
  4. Specify this information:
    Distribution Group
    Optionally, choose a group a report is distributed to.
    Report Format
    Complete the field.
    Show Structures
    Select this check box to override the structures that are associated with the reporting basis.
    Reporting Basis
    Select a reporting basis. The reporting basis provides the default structures for all dimensions unless the structure is overridden.
    Balance Type
    Two selections within the Balance Type field.
    Natural Balance
    Shows the revenue, liability, and equity accounts with negative amounts.
    Financial Report Balance
    Shows the revenue, liability and equity accounts with positive amounts.
    Fiscal Year
    Specify the fiscal year for the report.
    Fiscal Month
    Specify the fiscal month for the report.
  5. Specify any user-defined parameters that require values.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click the My Notifications or My Print Files icon to locate the report.
  8. Double-click the notification to open the report.
  9. The report parameters, run time, and date are displayed at the end of the report.
  10. Optionally, to copy an existing report, right-click a report within the Reports tab and select Copy Report. Specify the Report ID, and Report Title.
  11. Click Submit.
