Inventory Manager dashboards and reports

There are several reports that are available on the dashboards for Inventory Management.

Burn Rate Calculator

The Burn Rate Calculator report was created to help you track how quickly items are being used at your facility. The report based on guidelines published by the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in September 2020 and our Inventory Transaction model.

The gain for our clients is that the CDC spreadsheet requires manual entry of items and beginning quantities each day in order to calculate usage. Since you have Infor Financials & Supply Management Analytics, we’ve done the work for you. All you have to do is open the Burn Rate Calculator to see the usage analysis for your items on a daily basis. No manual entry required.

The top section of the report in blue - Quantity at the Start of the Day contains the Stock On Hand quantity at the start of the day.

The green section of the report, called the Quantity Used per Day, shows the quantity used per day.

The pink section of the report contains the calculation of the Number of Days Supply Remaining based on the average consumption rate.

Using the calculator:

When opened, the report defaults to today’s date. You can change the date using the filters on the dashboard.

The blue section at the top of the report shows what the stock on hand was at the start of the day today for the 14-day range. The data is grouped by Purchasing Major/Minor class, Inventory Major/Minor class, or Item (as selected in filters).

In the next section with the green heading, the Item Usage or Consumption Rate each day is displayed that shows the usage trend.

In the pink, or last section of the report, Number of Days Supply Remaining is calculated based on quantity used each day in the selected range. Use this section to see how the supply remaining changes based on the supply/usage trends in the 14-day range.
