Running the Update ION Schemas workflow

You can add or update business classes every FSM update. You must register the changes to the data catalog and update the connection point and data lake flow.

These procedures are performed when you run the Update ION Schemas workflow:

  • Register all schemas in the replication sets
  • Update documents in the connection point
  • Recreate the data lake flow
  • Reactivate the data lake flow
  • Clear compass tables cache

You must complete the initial setup of IPA in the tenant before you run the Update ION Schemas workflow.

Note: Before running the Update ION Schemas workflow, check if there are custom documents that are added in the data lake flow. Update ION Schemas only re-adds documents from Infor-delivered replication sets. Any custom document must be manually re-added after running the workflow.
  1. Open Infor OS Portal’s navigation menu.
  2. In the Applications, select Financials & Supply Management.
  3. Go to Integration Architect > Analytics Console > Dashboard.
  4. In the Update ION Schemas widget, click Start.
