Customizing your Infor Birst content

With the appropriate Birst license, you can copy and customize an Infor-provided space. With Infor’s new upgrade and release process, Infor no longer automatically updates the provisioned Active Tenant Content (ATC) spaces. Customers can make changes to add or update content to the provisioned consumer and model spaces based on customizations standards.

It is important to document all changes that were made in the ATC spaces. When upgrading to a new release version, customers should copy and recreate their customizations from backup of their ATC spaces to the new provisioned STC spaces. By following the recommended customizations standards, updates made by customers can be easily identified that allow for a convenient way of promoting them to the new release version.
