Update ION Schemas common issues

These are error notifications that a user may receive when an unhandled exception occurs when running the Update ION Schemas workflow. Each notification is described with its possible cause and instructions to resolve the issue.

Invalid Analytics Console Configurations

For example, The entered Connection Point does not exist

Description: The validation of parameter values has failed preventing the workflow to proceed.

Possible Cause: This error occurs when the execution of the action is prevented because of an incorrect value entered in the ConnectionPoint parameter.

Resolution:

  1. Open Financials & Supply Management in Infor OS Portal.
  2. Select Integration Architect > Analytics Console > Analytics Configurations.
  3. Click the ellipses and select Set Analytics Console Parameter.
  4. Select the ConnectionPoint parameter. This parameter contains the connection point name to be updated in the workflow.
  5. Review the value provided in the ConnectionPoint parameter:
    • Ensure that the connection point name is spelled correctly and does not contain any leading or trailing spaces.
    • Ensure that the name matches the connection name from ION > Connect > Connection Point.
  6. Double-click the ConnectionPoint parameter name and make the necessary changes.
  7. Rerun the workflow.

Blank Analytics Console Configurations

For example, ConnectionPoint cannot be blank.

Description: The validation of parameter values has failed preventing the workflow to proceed.

Possible Cause: This error occurs when the execution of the action is prevented because the required parameter value for ConnectionPoint or DataLakeFlowName is not provided by the user in the Analytics Console Configuration.

Resolution:

  1. Open Financials & Supply Management in Infor OS Portal.
  2. Select Integration Architect > Analytics Console > Analytics Configurations.
  3. Click the ellipses and select Set Analytics Console Parameter.
  4. Select the ConnectionPoint parameter. This parameter contains the connection point name to be updated in the workflow.
  5. Review the value provided in the ConnectionPoint parameter:
    • Ensure that the connection point name is spelled correctly and does not contain any leading or trailing spaces.
    • Ensure that the name matches the connection name from ION > Connect > Connection Point.
  6. Select the DataLakeFlowName parameter. This parameter contains the data lake flow name to be updated or created if it does not exist.
  7. Review the value provided in the DataLakeFlowName parameter:
    • Ensure that the data lake flow name is spelled correctly and does not contain any leading or trailing spaces.
    • Ensure that the name matches the data lake flow name from ION > Connect > Data Flows.
    • If the data lake flow is not yet created, this workflow creates a new data lake flow with the name given in this parameter.
  8. Double-click the DataLakeFlowName parameter name and make the necessary changes.
  9. Rerun the workflow.

WebRun RefreshConnPoint: Server returned HTTP response code - 504

For example, WebRun RefreshConnPoint: Server returned HTTP response code – 504.

Description: Request aborted after target server failed to respond within the configured timeout.

Possible Cause: This error occurs when the refresh connection point action timed out.

Resolution: Rerun the Update ION Schemas workflow.

The Following Replication Sets have shown error while Registering

For example, The Following Replication Sets have shown error while Registering:

FSM_GL_ST

Description: The action to register replication set has failed preventing the workflow to proceed.

Possible Cause: This error occurs when registering a replication set cannot proceed because the replication set is currently in process.

Resolution: Wait for any in process replication to complete and rerun the Update ION Schemas workflow.
