Analytics Console common issues

This topic shows the error notifications for when an unhandled exception occurs when performing actions in the Analytics Console.

Checkpoint for UpdateProductVersion is in use by another user

For example, Checkpoint for AnalyticsConsoleConsiguration_UpdateProductVersion.UpdateProductVersion Is in user by another user:

Description: The workflow has failed to call and retrieve the Birst space version.

Possible Cause: This error occurs when the execution of the action is prevented because a process failed to continue.

Resolution:

  1. Specify Checkpoint in the search bar and press enter to perform a search.
  2. In the result, select Data > Checkpoint from la/Business Classes.
  3. Specify version as the job name and press Enter to perform a search.
  4. Right-click AnalyticsConsoleConfigurationsUpdateProductVersion and select Delete.

Invalid or blank Analytics Console Configurations

For example, Error or Birst Api User Name, Birst Api User Password, Birst Api URL, Tenant ID are required.

Description: The workflow has failed to call and retrieve the Birst space version.

Possible Cause: This error occurs when the execution of the action is prevented because of incorrect or missing values in Analytics Console Configurations.

Resolution:

  1. Open Financials & Supply Management in Infor OS Portal.
  2. Select Integration Architect > Analytics Console > Analytics Configurations.
  3. Click the ellipses and select Set Analytics Console Parameter.

    Ensure that these values are setup correctly:

    • BirstApiURL
    • BirstApiUserName
    • BirstApiUserPassword
    • IONApiUrl, IONApiSMDUrl
    • Tenant ID
    Note: The BirstApiUserPassword must be reentered when updating the other values.
