Analytics Upgrade workflows

Starting with the 2024.04 feature release, FSM Analytics Upgrade workflows are made available in the Analytics Console. These workflows enables a streamlined process of upgrading FSM Analytics to the latest release version.

These options are available when the user upgrades:

Upgrade Active Spaces Using Staging - this option is the recommended upgrade process where a staging environment (STC) is used to copy customizations and tested with the latest version with data. After successful validation, the STC spaces are swapped with the Active spaces and made available to end users.
Upgrade Active Spaces Directly - this process directly upgrades the Active Spaces and makes the spaces unavailable to end users until the upgrade is completed.
Copy Content To Another Tenant - this option copies the current tenant Analytics spaces to another tenant. It only copies the metadata of the spaces. Post-provisioning steps must be performed in the target tenant after the copy action.

Note: During the upgrade, the Always On setting for both the source and target spaces should be disabled. Otherwise, the process will be terminated. To manually change the feature to disabled, the user should go to Birst > Space Management > Space Properties > Advanced.
