Contract Management

This section contains enhancements in Infor Financials and Supply Management.

Entity-level taxation for contracts

Entity-level taxation for contracts is required. Tax defaulting information on contracts can now be entered for requesting locations, inventory locations, and companies at both the header and line level.

  1. Enable tax default locations in Contract Groups.
  2. Enter tax information at the location or company level on a contract. Add lines, release, and activate the contract.
  3. Create a requisition line for the contract line.
  4. Verify that the tax information defaults properly.

Automatically update contract header max amount based on contract line max amount

Automatically update the Lifetime Maximum Amount for a contract when the Lifetime Maximum Amount for a contract line is updated. A new field was added to Contract Classification and Contract Subclassification to turn on this new feature.

The Lifetime Maximum Amount for the contract is updated if an increase to the Lifetime Maximum Amount on a contract line causes the total of all lines to exceed the contract amount.

  1. Select Contract Classifications.
  2. Select Automatically Update Contract Header Lifetime Maximum Amount When Exceeded By Line Total for both a contract classification and a contract subclassification.
  3. Locate contracts with and without the contract classification and subclassification.
  4. Enter a Lifetime Maximum Amount. Add contract lines with Lifetime Maximum Amounts. If the total of the Lifetime Maximum Amount for all contract lines exceeds the maximum amount for the contract, verify the maximum amount for the contract is updated to match the total of all the lines.
  5. If the Lifetime Maximum Amount is not entered on the contract, verify the amount is not updated when a contract line is added or updated.
  6. For contract lines with service type items, depending on the service type, the Lifetime Maximum Amount is calculated. Verify changes to those lines are updated correctly.
  7. When contract lines are deleted or the maximum amount is decreased, verify the maximum amount for the contract is not updated.
  8. If the contract has header commitments, verify the commitments are updated correctly if the maximum amount for the contract is changed.
