Enhance the Project Resource role to add an optional My projects menu

The Project Resource Role includes a new menu item for My Projects. The My Projects menu item is optional.

  1. Log in as the project resource role.
  2. Expand the new My Projects menu item.
  3. Verify that the menu contains My Project List, My Project Balances, My Project Transactions and My Project Commitments.
  4. Verify that the lists are filtered to only display posting projects where the actor has an active project personnel record.
  5. Verify that the lists are view only.

Recalculate fringe burden without having to reverse and re-distribute labor distribution

Add a new action to recalculate the fringe burden associated with labor distribution without having to reverse and redistribute the labor.

  1. Log in as the project accountant role.
  2. Add a new fringe burden rate to a fringe burden code with an effective date for processed labor.
  3. Select the Labor Process > Recalculate Fringe Burdens Labor Processes action.
  4. Run the action for labor distribution with fringe burdens has been processed using original fringe rate. This step requires adding a new fringe burden rate to a fringe burden code with an effective date for processed labor.
  5. Access the processed labor for the employees and verify that the new fringe burden rate has been applied.

Add custom group parameter to Reverse Journalize Indirect Burdens mass action

Provide the ability to select a burden transaction to reverse by additional criteria than the run group or the burden code.

  1. Log in as the project accountant role.
  2. Select the Processes tab on the Indirect Burdens menu item.
  3. Click the Reverse Journalize Indirect Burdens action.
  4. Verify that new parameters have been added for contract group, project group, and transaction date range.
  5. Verify that the Run Group is not required.

Unfreeze columns on ProjectContractInvoiceGLDetailList to allow changing column sizes

Provide the ability to expand the Finance Structure column on the Transaction tabs on the Invoice Detail tab and the Revenue Recognition tab on a project contract for both journalized invoices and journalized revenue. Only six columns can be viewed and users require the ability to see the full finance structure.

  1. Log in as the project accountant role.
  2. Select a project contract from the Project Management menu that has had invoices and revenue journalized.
  3. On the Invoice Detail tab, select a journalized invoice and verify that the columns on the Transactions tab can be expanded.
  4. On the Revenue Recognition tab, select a journalized revenue and verify that the columns on the Transactions tab can be expanded.

Add new Project Budget Analysis report

Add a new Project Budget Analysis report that compares actual to budget by account or by account category (FD3 or FD4) or by funding source (FD2) dimension.

  1. Log in as the project administrator role.
  2. Click the Project Analysis menu item.
  3. Verify that the Project Budget Analysis report is available.
  4. Select the report and specify filter selections.
  5. Click search and verify that the filtered report is returned.
  6. Verify that the report results can be configured by structures, dimensions, pivot by, and date.
