This section contains enhancements in Infor Financials and Supply Management.

Moving ICB attachments to IDM

These records can be used in IDM as storage for attachments:

  • IntercompanyBillingDocumentHeader
  • IntercompanyBillingDocumentAttachment

FSM_IntercompanyInvoice is the IDM Document Type for the above mentioned records where the attachments are stored. The ICB attachments can now be moved to IDM.

Testing notes:

  1. Log in as Application Administrator or any role using which can access FinanceEnterpriseGroup.
  2. Go to Finance Enterprise Group Options tab and turn on the Use IDM for attachments toggle.
  3. Log in as Application Administrator, go to shared processes and access Attachment Maintenance.
  4. In the manage attachments tab, the business class can now use the action "Mass Upload To IDM". This action will move all old attachments to IDM. It is recommended to run this action on weekends based on the volume or records to process.

Alternatively, you can also do these steps:

  1. Log in as Application Administrator or any role using which can access Finance Enterprise Group.
  2. Go to Finance Enterprise Group Options tab and turn on the Use IDM for attachments toggle. Set up and access the groups.
  3. In IDM Document Settings, select Use IDM template.
  4. Access Manage Documents. Create a document and fill in field "Billing Invoice Template" and click Save.
  5. Go to IDM and verify attachments for doc type FSM_IntercompanyInvoice. The attachment from field "Billing Invoice Template" should now be stored in IDM. Verify attributes of the attachment.
  6. In the Attachments tab in document create a record and click save.
  7. Go to IDM and verify attachments for the document type FSM_IntercompanyInvoice. The attachment should now be stored in IDM. Verify the attributes of the attachment.
  8. Delete record in Attachments tab. The attachment should now be deleted from IDM.
  9. Delete the whole document. The attachment should now be deleted from IDM.

Document, Lines tab, add Tax Info panel in detail area

The Intercompany Billing Document Line list view should show the Tax Info tab in addition to the Revenue and Expense distribution tabs.

Now, the Intercompany Billing Document Line list view now shows the Tax Info tab in addition to the Revenue and Expense distribution tabs. All tabs can still be viewed be clicking on an individual Intercompany Billing Document Line.

Testing notes:

  1. Create an Intercompany Billing Document.
  2. Add a Taxable line.
  3. Verify that the Tax Info tab will now appear on the main Intercompany Billing Document Line list view.

OneSource, Generic, Receivables and Intercompany Billing

Receivables and Intercompany Billing must allow the use of One Source as a third party tax engine. One Source is now supported.

Testing notes:

  1. Ensure that the proper setup was completed to use One Source. This can be verified by creating and releasing an invoice in Payables, Billing, etc.
  2. Create an invoice in Receivables and add a distribution with a tax code.
  3. Release the invoice and verify that tax processing works as expected.
