Pick lists

A pick list is a list of allocated items. Warehouse personnel use it to pick the items from inventory. Depending on the process type, the pick list is used to pick, pack, or ship. Only inventory that is allocated is printed on a pick list.

Note:  A process type determines how a sales order is processed through Warehouse.

To print multiple orders for detail-tracked items that are sequenced by bin, run Warehouse Bulk Pick List. Bulk pick lists are used by warehouse personnel to pick items in bin sequence for several orders and create fewer trips through the warehouse. Because Warehouse Bulk Pick List only sorts the information for printing purposes, Warehouse Pick List Print must be run first to create the shipments. Warehouse Pick List Print pick lists that are electronically interfaced into third party warehouse systems from the Warehouse solution. A flat interface file is created and printed in the form of the pick list. In combination with Warehouse Batch Feedback Interface, you can interface data to and from a third party warehouse system. When you run Warehouse Pick List Print, a flat file is created. The flat file contains information from the current run of Warehouse Pick List Print only. Warehouse Pick List Print is used to create the output file, WHSHIPFLAT.
