Interfacing picking, packing, or shipping feedback

  1. Create a flat file from an interface source in an Infor required format.
  2. Select Batch Feedback Interface.
  3. Specify this information:
    Company
    Select a company number.
    Location
    Select the inventory location.
    Status
Select Picking, Packing, or Shipping. The flat file is read, the type of feedback you requested is loaded, and a list of any errors is printed.
Note:  Shipments that are interfaced from the input file are not removed. Rerunning Warehouse Batch Feedback Interface using the same input file creates duplicate updates.
    Process Date
Specify a process shipment date. If this field is blank, then the system date is the default value.
    Edit Only
Select whether to edit only the interfaced records or to also update the interfaced records.
    Missing Shipment Lines Option
Select how to handle shipment lines that are missing from the interface file.
    Backorder, Cancel Remaining Quantity
Select whether to backorder or void the remaining quantities.
    Existing Details
Select whether interfaced detail information should be added to any existing shipment line details or replace the existing shipment line details.
  4. In the Report Distribution section, select a distribution list and export type for these reports:
    • Warehouse Batch Feedback Interface Report
    • Warehouse Batch Feedback Error Report
  5. Click Submit.
