Purging historical tax transactions

You can purge tax transactions that have been completely processed by running Tax History Purge. After Tax Analysis Report has been run in Update mode to update the status of current transactions, transaction records are no longer necessary.

Tax History Purge has these special features:

  1. Use the edit option on Tax History Purge to print a list of tax transactions that will be deleted without deleting them.
  2. Using the cutoff date, you can purge tax transactions up to a defined posting date.

There are procedures with instructions for using both of these options and for purging the transactions. To print released and historical tax records before deleting the records, select Tax Analysis Report.
