TrueCost dimensions
TrueCost has extended dimensionality so you can allocate expenses from a dimension to any finance dimension. This extended dimensionality provides more flexibility on the allocation of balances across different finance dimensions.
Some examples of finance dimensions include:
- Accounting Entity
- Entity
- Account
- Project
- Business Unit
- Service Line
Dimensions are assigned in TrueCost Configuration and define which dimensions are relevant for allocations. Dimensions can be assigned to Drivers, Driver Weight (Resource Intensity) and Practical Capacity. On Allocation Lines, you can specify a target dimension for allocation and dimension combination for the source address.
