Setting up password requirements for external entities

External entity administrators can enable and disable these settings by specifying 0 as the value or by clearing the check box.

These password requirements that cannot be modified.

  • One uppercase alpha character
  • One lowercase alpha character
  • One numberic character
  • One special character ] [ ? / < ~ # ` ! @ $ % ^ & * ( ) + = { } | : " ; ' , >
  • Users last three passwords cannot be reused.
  1. Sign in as External Entity Administrator.
  2. Click the profile icon and select External Entity Management.
  3. On the external entity pane, double-click the circle icon. This icon contains the number of users.
  4. Select BILLINGRECVEXTENTITY > Infor CloudSuite Identities.
  5. Select the Password Management tab.
  6. Specify this information:
    Password will expire every
    To enable expiration, specify the number of days. To disable expiration, specify 0.
    Accounts will be locked after
    Specify the maximum number of sign-in attempts.
    Accounts will be locked for
    Specify the minimum period, in minutes, that the account is locked. When this period is expired, the user can re-attempt sign in.
    Disable inactive accounts after
    Specify the days until an account is inactive. To disable account deactivation, specify 0.
    Password History
    Specify the number of new passwords before a previous password can be reused.
    Prohibit Password Reset
    Specify the amount time before a user can reset a password. For example, if 30 days is specified, then a user who resets the password cannot reset it for 30 days.
