Troubleshooting: When requester punchout vendor already exists

Issue: Customer created requester profiles and punchout vendors. They assigned punchout vendors to the requesters. When opening a requester profile to see which vendors are in their profile, the area is blank. If they try to add a vendor to the requester, an error message is displayed indicating that the requester punchout vendor already exists.

Use the procedure to fix the issue:

  1. Search for Agent.
  2. Open the Agent business class.
  3. Search for your agent record.
    1. Click the magnifying glass icon.
    2. In the Name field, specify 1000 <Your Employee ID>. <Your Employee ID> is the number that you used when you created your employee record. This is also your Infor Network ID.
    3. This search should return a record with an Agent Type of Employee.
  4. Open your employee agent record from the previous step. The Parent Agent field should be blank.
  5. Select Actions > Link to Actor.
  6. Select your Actor and click OK. The Parent Agent field should now contain UUID.
