Lease Accounting standard application reports and lists

Lease Accounting information for reporting is located throughout the navigation menus. In addition, you can create a report from any list.

This table contains the standard application reports and lists for Lease Accounting. To find the reports, use the menu search. Search for the Report name unless a name is specified in the Menu name column.

Create Payables Invoices For Lease Payments Create a GL accrual entry based on the specified parameters and the payment schedules that are defined for the leases. You can create invoices for one lease or for all leases within a company, company group, or attribute list. If you accrue rent on the lease, then a GL accrual entry is created instead of an invoice. You can also limit the lease selection by lease classification and by lease type. n/a

Lease Allocation Code List View allocation codes and details. Lease Allocation Code
Lease Analysis Report View payment, principal, interest, liability, net book, and amortization amounts for leases. You can specify a year or life to date of the lease. You can also view the lease amortization by selecting the amortization report option.

View general payment data on a lease, including the payment obligation amounts and payment activity over a specific period. Only posted payments are displayed on this form.

Lease Payment Schedule List List the payment schedules for selected leases with or without the recurring schedule detail. Imported Lease Payments
Lease Period Close Close a lease accounting period before you close the corresponding Global Ledger period. You must close the periods to ensure that all processing for the periods have been completed. It is also used to keep track of period-to-date and year-to-date amounts. n/a
Lease Posting Update the lease accounting balances with the most recent payment and interest information. For finance leases, you must run Interest Calculation before running this process. For operating leases, you must run AP Interface before running this process. n/a
Lease Projections Generate lease projections that satisfy FAS 13 reporting requirements. The projections include the minimum future payments in total and for each of the next five years. It deducts for non-lease components, profit, and the present value of the amount of imputed interest to reduce the net minimum lease payments. n/a
Lease Disclosure Summary Reports

You can run each report by setting the Structure for the Reporting Basis with your Account Entity and selecting any period.

You must have access to the analytic cube to run the GASB87 Lease Disclosure Summary Reports.

Lease Type List View a list of global lease types and descriptions. Lease Type
Long Term Operating Leases With Missing Assets View all the operating leases without an asset that have a term of more than 12. The begin date is before the Lease Adoption Date and the End Date is after the Lease Adoption Date.

The ROU Asset Amount field calculation is the Lease Obligation minus the Incentive Amount plus the Initial Direct Cost. You must create an asset on these leases with the basis equal to the ROU asset amount. Before you run this report, you must run Calculate Lease Obligation.

Lease Missing Asset Report
Mass Lease Payment Approval Approve multiple lease invoice payments. The process also generates a report of approved and unapproved invoice payments for the company. n/a
Mass Lease Release Run the FAS 13 test on selected leases and release them. You can release or run the FAS 13 test only. You can run the process for one lease or for all of the leases within a company, company group, or attribute list. You can also further limit the lease selection by lease classification and by lease type. If you are accruing the percentage rent portion of your lease payment, then you must include accrued rent account information. You cannot make accrued payments for finance leases or accrue the final payment on a payment schedule. n/a
Non Lease Component List Generate a list of non-lease components and the default company, account, and activity information that is associated with each lease.

View only non-lease component data on a lease, including non-lease component balances and non-lease component amounts paid over a specific period. Only posted payments are displayed on this form.

Non Lease Component
Lease Amortization Report Generate a PDF containing the lease amortization. Use the parameters to narrow the results by lease, lease classification, type, currency, and percent. The report shows non-short term leases that are in a released state.

A short-term lease has a term of 12 months or less. A non short-term lease term is more than 12 months.

This report can also be generated by running the Test or Preset Value action.
