Creating line item entry transactions

After a transaction is created, line items can be added.
  1. Sign in as Receivables Specialist or Receivables Manager.
  2. For Receivables Specialist, select Invoices.
    For Receivables Manager, select Processing > Invoices.
  3. From the Invoices menu, select an unreleased record on the Invoice Batch tab.
  4. On the Transactions tab, open a transaction record.
  5. On the Line Items tab, click Create.
  6. Specify this information:
    Description
    Provide a description of the line item.
    Item Reference
    Specify the line item number.
    Department
    Project Contract
    Optionally, select the project contract that is associated with the line item.
    Project
    Optionally,select the project that is associated with the line item.
    User Sort Field
    Specify the data for selection and display. If the transaction is associated with a contract, then you can specify the contract number.
    Transaction Amount
    Specify the amount of the line item.
  7. Click Save.
