Sending recertification emails

If the certified effort percentages are incorrect, a user can uncertify the effort period and make the correction. If the user does not have permission to uncertify effort, they can send a recertification email to the person responsible to make the changes. The Recertification Email action includes the employee, effort period, and any comments added. You can take a screen shot of the period record to change to attach to the email.

  1. Sign in as Project Accountant, Project Certifier, or Project Resource.
  2. For Project Accountant, select Project Management > Effort Certification. Select the Certification By Employee tab to view amounts by employee or select the Certification By Period tab to view amounts by period.
    For Project Certifier, select Employees Effort Certification.

    For Project Resource, select Effort Certification.

  3. Open the employee effort period.
  4. Select Actions > Recertification Email.
  5. Specify this information:
    Email Address
    Specify the email address to send the notice to. You can specify multiple addresses separated by commas.
    Comment
    Specify the changes that must be made and the reason.
    Title
    The default value for this field is the name of the file you browse to. You can specify a different title for the document.
    File
    Browse to a file to attach. This can be any file stating why the change is being requested.
    Mime Type
    The type of the file that is attached is the default value.
  6. Click Submit.
