Copying group labor distribution between periods

You can copy labor distribution records from one period to another for an employee group.

  1. Sign in as Project Accountant or Project Administrator.
  2. Select Project Processes > Labor Processes > Copy Labor.
  3. Specify this information:
    Employee Group
    Select the employee group. An employee group is a custom group from the Employee business class that defines the group of employees for which to copy labor distribution records. For example, you can create a group of employees by organization unit.
    Labor Schedule
    Select the labor schedule for the employees in the employee group that is used to create the labor distribution records.
    From Period
    Select a period from which to copy the labor distribution records.
    To Period
    Select a period to start the copy of labor distribution records.
    Through Period
    Select a period to end the copy of labor distribution records.
    Copy Finance Structure
    Select this check box to copy the finance structure for each labor distribution record.
    Copy Planned To Actual
    Select this check box to copy the planned percent to the actual column for each labor distribution record.
  4. Click Submit.
