Budgets

The integration provides a method to facilitate the sharing of information between Global Ledger and Enterprise Performance Management. This shared information are the financial hierarchies that are required for the budget process, and the results to use as a starting point for budgeting.

If Enterprise Performance Management is not used, then the budget data can be imported using any of the Landmark import methods. See the Financials and Supply Management Data Interface Guide.

Budgets can span multiple dimensions and multiple budgets are supported. The budget scenario enables support of the different budgeting versions that can be used for reporting and budget edits. A budget scenario holds information for a specific budget. The budget scenario dimensions must have the same dimension as the approved budgets that are imported to the system.
