Rebuilding the budget entity ledger

Use this procedure to rebuild data for a budget entity ledger if the file is corrupted or is unintentionally erased. This utility is only available in the reporting basis and only if Use for Budget Edit is enabled on the reporting basis. This utility is available when the associated budget templates are inactive.

Select Processing > Reporting Basis.
Select the reporting basis record that is used for the budget.

Note: The data for the budget entity ledger is used only for the GL system code and only when it is set to Track or Track And Edit.
Open the record and verify that the Use for Budget Edit field is enabled.
Select Actions > Rebuild Budget Entity Ledger.

A message is displayed indicating that the action is completed.
