Creating interest allocation lines

  1. Select Processing > Allocations > Allocation Control
  2. On the Actuals tab, open an allocation record.
  3. On the Allocations tab, open an interest allocation record.
  4. On the Lines tab, click Create.
  5. Specify this information:
    Average Daily Balance Account
    Select the average daily balance account to use as allocation basis during the calculation. Interest is allocated based on the average daily balance of the custodial account. Interest is allocated to interest-bearing custodial accounts that meet the average daily balance threshold. This field is available if <Custodial Account> Interest Allocation is selected.
  6. Complete the form.

  7. Click Save.
  8. Continue with the setup based on the selected posting options.
