Selecting valid recurring journal entry periods

After you create a recurring journal control record, you can view the recurring journal schedule by clicking the Schedule tab.

By default, all of the periods for all of the years that are included in the recurring journal date range are selected for processing. You can update the Period Selected value for any period displayed in the list.

  1. Select Processing > Journals > Recurring Journals.
  2. Open the recurring journal entry and click the Schedule tab.
  3. On the Period Selected column, select No for each period that the recurring journal entry is not processed.
  4. Click Save. You cannot journalize recurring journal entries for a non-selected period.
