Transaction interfacing

Transaction interfacing occurs when transactions are sent to Global Ledger accounts.

For example, when you issue inventory, the transaction is sent to the issue account that is defined at the requesting location. If an issue account is not defined at the requesting location, then the Inventory Location Account Group is used for the default value of the issue account. To send the transaction to a different account, specify a different debit account on the issue document. The transactions are sent to Global Ledger, where those transactions are posted.
