Inventory Control interfaces

Your initial interface of inventory data from a non-Infor source to the Infor Inventory Control solution includes loading and building these records.
This table contains important information about the interfaces for this solution:
  • The name, description, and method for testing for each interface.
  • The name of the CSV file, if applicable.

    If there is only a CSV input file and no database input (business class), then there is no maintenance form for the input file. Maintenance must be done on the CSV file and the interface reprocessed.

  • The business class (ISD File), which is the error/interface file where data is stored if you have errors. In some cases, the business class (ISD file) is also the file into which the data is initially interfaced.
  • Where you go to perform maintenance after the interface is run.
  • The Results menu item.

Physical Inventory Interface

Process physical inventory counts from an interface file. This interface can take input from a table or a flat file. This import can take input from a table or a flat file.

Inventory Beginning Balance Load

Create and update the stock-on-hand quantity fields from another source. Creates Stock on hand detail, serial number control, and lot control.

Inventory Forecast Interface

Import item forecast records from an interface file. You can print a list of item forecasts that could not be processed and load good records. Use Forecasts to update records. If you run this interface again, delete previous interface files to avoid duplication.
