NRAC notices

The NRAC data feed is automatically available to users. Before you can retrieve notices, an SSL certificate must be installed. For information about the NRAC certificate, see the Infor Financials & Supply Management Installation Guide. You can also contact the Infor Cloud Team so that an SSL certificate can be installed for you.

Processing that occurs as notices are created

NRAC provides all notices that they have received during the specified date range. A notice is created in Item Lifecycle Management for each NRAC notice. Each notice is flagged with a green check mark. The green check mark indicates that it was created by a third party.

For each notice, NRAC provides details about the product or products that are recalled. This information can include Catalog Number, Item Number, Model Number, Specific Unit Number, Part Number, NDC, Product Code, Product Number, Lot Number, and Serial Number.

The details are used to determine if items or vendor items are set up in Financials & Supply Management. If no items or vendor items exist, then the product details are stored as a Manufacturer Number or NDC Number so that further queries can be performed.

The Product Transaction Query is automatically run for each notice that has product items (from product details). The parameters for the Product Transaction Query are determined by the default parameters that are defined in the Group.

See Transactions for details about product item defaults and how transactions and documents are found based on the Product Items that are entered.
