Correcting failed attachments to IDM

Use this procedure to view and correct attachments that failed to upload to IDM.

  1. Sign in as Application Administrator.
  2. Select Financials or Supply Management then Shared Processes > Attachment Maintenance.
  3. Click the Failed Attachments to IDM tab.
  4. For the Missing File Extension error, rename the file and include the file extension.
  5. For the invalid MIME type error, add the file extension to MIME Types in IDM:
    1. Open the IDM application.
    2. Select Control Center > Configuration > MIME Types.
    3. Click Add to create a new MIME type.
    4. The MIME type is now supported when uploading the file.
