Creating intercompany billing documents

  1. Select Documents > Unreleased. The Unreleased Documents list is displayed.
  2. Select Actions > Create to create the header.
  3. Select a Billing Invoice Template.
  4. In the Receivable section, select a Company. Default values for process level and approval codes are used in subsequent fields.
  5. In the Payable section, select a Company. Default values for process level and approval code are used in subsequent fields.
  6. Click Save. The header for the intercompany billing document is created
  7. On the Lines tab, click Actions > Create. You can create additional lines to pay invoices.
  8. Click the View Invoice button. A merge template document is displayed, which is a customizable document that you can use to show the variable and fixed data.
  9. Click Actions > Release to create the interface to Payables and Receivables.
  10. You can click a View link to view the Payables or the Receivables invoices. Select the Distributions tab for details.
  11. The Comments tab is available to create comment records.
  12. The Attachments tab is available to add documents.

    Use the drill back to access comments or attachments from the receivable invoice and payables invoice.

    Comments and attachments can be added, changed, and deleted up to the release state of the intercompany billing document header.
