Creating project fee code versions

A new version of a project fee code is used when the rate, amount, or percent changes during the project date range. If the project fee code is a tiered fee, the tier is copied to the new version.

  1. Select Financials > Project Ledger > Setup > Project Setup.
  2. Click the Structure tab.
  3. Open a project structure and click the Hierarchy tab.
  4. Open a contract summary project and select Actions > Update.
  5. Click Contract Information.
  6. Click the Fees tab.
  7. Select the fee and select Actions > Create New Version.
  8. Specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Specify a new date for the fee code and type.
  9. Click Submit.
    Changes to the rate or amount in the tier can be changed by opening the record. To change the through dates, you can delete the tiers that are incorrect and create new tier records.
