Printing parallel reference RTF document

Use this procedure to attach the parallel reference to the project invoice document in RTF:

  1. Open the .rtf file in Word.
  2. Position the cursor at the point in the document to insert the parallel reference field.
  3. Select Insert > Quick Parts > Field > Insert Field.
  4. In the Please choose a field section, select the MergeField field.
  5. In the Field Properties section, specify the business class field name to use as a variable. For example, ReceivablesInvoiceRel.ParallelReference.
  6. Click OK. The field is displayed on the document.
  7. Rerun the Journalize invoice using the new Invoice document template.
  8. Select Financials > Project Ledger > Setup > Project Contacts > Invoice Detail > View Invoice. The Parallel Reference is printed in the document.
