Creating task types

Task types are used to categorize the detail tasks within your Close process.
  1. Select Financials > Shared Processes > Close Management > Setup > Close Setup > Task Types.
  2. On the Primary tab, click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Type
    Specify a name for the task type.
    Description
    Specify a description.
    Is Default
    Select the check box if this task type is the default value.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Repeat this process to create task types on the Secondary and Tertiary tabs.
