Enabling and disabling project structure validation

When project structure validation is enabled, the dimensions in finance code blocks that include a project are validated against the project structure setup.

Before you can enable project structure validation, you must complete these tasks:

Select a Project Structure Validation Dimension on the finance enterprise group.
Create the relations and the validation rules for each relation.
See Creating project structure validations.

Select Financials > Global Ledger > Setup > Finance Enterprise Group > Maintenance.
Open a finance enterprise group.
Select Actions > Turn On Project Structure Validation.
To verify that project structure validation is enabled, select the Options tab for the finance enterprise group. Verify that the Project Structure Validation Enabled check box is selected.
To disable project structure validation, select Actions > Turn Off Project Structure Validation and click OK.
To verify that project structure validation is disabled, select the Options tab for the finance enterprise group. Verify that the Project Structure Validation Enabled field is cleared.
