Creating Close Management groups

  1. Select Financials > Shared Processes > Close Management > Setup > General Setup > Close Management Group.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Close Management Group, Description
    Specify a group ID and description for the Close Management group.
    Default Calendar
    Select a default calendar for the group.
    Default Period Group
    Select a default period group.
  4. In the Reason Code Required When section, select the check box of the tasks for which reason codes are required.
  5. In the One Time Tasks section, select the check box for preferred one time task options and specify a Default Approval Code.
  6. In the Override Resource Notifications section, select the check box for preferred notifications options.
  7. In the Close Resource Options section, select the check box for preferred Close resource options.
  8. In the Close Analytic Cube section, select the check box for preferred Close analytic cube options.
  9. In the External Email Notifications section, select the check box for preferred email notification options. Specify the Send From, Default Subject, and Default Content of the email notification.
  10. Click Save.
