Price lists

A price list is a price base modifier that contains pricing parameters that you define for items. In general, a price list points to a specific price base. You can optionally set up parameters for a price list that modify the price base to create a sell price.

You can use the same price list for one or many customers. You must assign at least one default price list to each customer. You can also assign a second price list to the ship to location for each customer. The ship-to price list overrides the default price list for a customer.

When you set up price lists, you determine the complexity of the pricing structure by the parameters that you specify. For example, you can specify that the sell price of items is 90% of the base price. For pricing structures that are complex, you can specify parameters that determine the sell price of the item by item sales class or by individual item. You can also set up multiple price lists for the same group of items.
